Well, this is a little different than what I normally do . . . but there is a reason. Aardrin is a Paint, as such his spots are complicated. I didn't want to have to try and remember where his spots were and what shape they were. So, I made myself a maquet out of a Breyer horse I got off E-Bay (I have no idea what the horse color was originally, it was already sanded and badly primed when I got it).
He's a bit busy, I might change him to make him less complicated . . . but I'm liking him for now. I'd like to credit legends-of-the-west and her beautiful pictures of Paint horses for the inspiration for Aardrin's spots. ^_^ |
