Sybil stood silently on the deck of a merchant ship, swords and pistols pointed at her from every direction. Her dark eyes were blazing angrily, her hands balled into fists as the sea breeze tousled her short black hair. Her First Mate and dear friend, Jane, was not far off, and in the same dire situation.
